A teaching practice

As part of Dr. Singh's role with the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine, our clinic helps train the next generation of physicians. You may meet a medical student or resident doctor during your visit — they work under Dr. Singh's direct supervision.

Your care and comfort always come first. If you'd prefer to be seen by the physician alone, just let our front desk know — that's completely okay.

Visiting the clinic

When you come in

Not sure what to do when you arrive? Find your situation below — there are three simple paths.

Have an appointment?

Check in yourself

When you arrive for a booked appointment, check in at our self-serve kiosk by the entrance. Just follow the on-screen steps and you'll be added to the queue automatically.

New to the kiosk or need a hand? Our front desk is always happy to help.

Minor walk-in?

See the front desk

Our registered patients can walk in for these quick, minor reasons — please see the front desk when you arrive. Calling ahead is best, so we can tell you the best time to come:

  • B12 injections
  • Allergy injections
  • Vaccination updates (adolescents & adults)
  • Pregnancy tests
  • Suspected urinary tract infections (UTIs)

Need to be seen today?

Call or message

Feeling unwell today? Call or send us a secure message, and our team will do their best to fit you in for a same-day appointment, usually between 4:00 – 5:00 PM. Reaching out early in the day gives you the best chance of a spot.

Please note: Minor walk-in and same-day visits are available only to patients registered with our clinic, and are offered at the clinic's discretion — subject to physician and staff availability, as the schedule allows, and during regular business hours only. Availability is not guaranteed and wait times may apply. These visits are intended for minor, non-urgent concerns. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or a potentially serious condition, do not wait — call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked

How do I get my test results?
All results are reviewed by Dr. Singh. If anything needs follow-up, our office will contact you. Results aren't shared automatically when they're normal — if you haven't heard from us within 2–3 weeks of your test, please call to check in.
How do referrals to specialists work?
When you need to see a specialist, Dr. Singh sends the referral on your behalf. The specialist's office then contacts you directly to schedule. Wait times vary by specialty — if you haven't heard back within a few weeks, let us know and we'll follow up.
How do I request a prescription refill?
Where possible, please ask for renewals at your appointments. If you run out between visits, send us a secure message with your medication and pharmacy details and allow a few business days. Some medications may require a visit before they can be renewed.
Are there fees for forms or notes?
Some services aren't covered by OHIP — for example, certain forms, sick notes, and insurance paperwork. These have a fee, payable at the time of service. See our Uninsured Services page for details, or ask our front desk.
What are my options for after-hours care?
Our clinic offers extended after-hours appointments on Tuesdays from 5:00 PM. As part of the BramNorth Family Health Organization (FHO), our partner physicians in the same plaza — Dr. H. Brar, Dr. Harleen Singh, Dr. N. Garg, and Dr. D. Garg — can also be contacted for after-hours care, subject to availability. When we're closed and you need non-urgent advice, call Health811 (dial 811). For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
